How do I link my bank account?
Log in to your group, go to Payments, and click Link Bank Account. You will be guided through a secure identity verification step before connecting via Stripe Financial Connections.
How long does an ACH payment take to settle?
ACH transfers typically settle within 3–5 business days. The payment will show as "processing" in your history until the funds clear. Settlement timelines are determined by the banking system and cannot be accelerated by eChama.
I was charged but I didn't authorise it. What do I do?
Contact us within 30 days of the transaction at support@echama.com or call 651-317-9215. Use the subject line: Payment Dispute — [Your Name] — [Date]. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
How do I cancel my account?
Email support@echama.com with the subject Account Cancellation — [Your Name]. Before cancelling, export any records you need and ensure pending payments have settled. Financial records are retained for 7 years per regulatory requirements.
How do I turn off Auto-Pay?
Go to Payments in your group and toggle off Auto-Pay. Unenrol before a case event is approved to prevent the next scheduled deduction. Changes take effect immediately.
I can't log in — what should I do?
Use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset your password. If your account has been locked after 5 failed attempts, contact us at support@echama.com to unlock it.
